Raymond Marra has created new business and market opportunities and generated significant new sources of revenue for many of world’s most prominent technology companies. He has led numerous successful business development efforts across a number of large industries and verticals including federal and service providers as well as many
global 2000 enterprises.
At TeleGea,
Mr. Marra served as Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Business Development. During his tenure,
Mr. Marra restructured the sales operations and led the company into EMEA, Asia Pac and North American regions. Under
his direction, TeleGea entered the service provider and
enterprise sectors while establishing relationships with many of the world’s largest
equipment providers, system integrators and tier-one carriers.
Mr. Marra served as Vice President of
Worldwide Alliances and Business Development for
Riversoft (IBM),
where under his leadership the restructured
channels division achieved results equaling 40%
of overall company sales. Responsible for all
global indirect sales channels, Mr. Marra's
division developed and managed the companys relationships with the worlds top systems integrators and OEM hardware vendors.
As Vice President of OEM and Federal Sales
at Micromuse (IBM),
Mr. Marra led the business development and sales of the companys NetcoolŽ applications, successfully positioning it as a best-of-breed OSS solution and establishing partnerships with many of the industrys major federal systems integrators and
equipment vendors. Both practices experienced exponential growth during his tenure.
Prior to Micromuse, Mr. Marra established the Channels and Federal
division at System Management ARTS
(EMC), as Vice President.
Mr. Marra was an integral member of the
original team that founded
Objective Systems Integrators
(Agilent), Inc., serving as Director of Global Sales/Director Government Systems. During his tenure, he
built a $12 million annual business unit selling the companys flagship product, NetExpert®.
